We spent Christmas Eve in Collierville at Ryan's parent's house.. Nina and Grandaddy. We started out the morning by going over to Emmy, Uncle Craig, and Carter's house for some Christmas Eve breakfast and lots more Christmassy stuff! Then back over to Nina and Grandaddy's to get ready for Santa... Christmas music, cookies, and movies! Sooooo much fun! I think Pearce was just as obsessed with the holiday as his mommy is.. thank goodness!
Before Pearce settled down in his crib, one last scroll of daddy's iPhone danced in his head..
He just had to see what songs he could play for Santa to hear up in his sleigh..
Not a creature was stirring when a nighttime bottle hit Pearce's mouth!
Pearce worked hard on homemade cookies for Santa and made sure he had milk too
And then he and Santa played a little peek-a-boo
Pearce checked out Santa's goodies one more time to make sure they would do
Earlier in the day, he put on his Santa hat
and unpacked his diaper bag and thought "surely Santa can't think of any better gifts to bring me than THAT"
He danced with hip hop Santa and said ho ho ho
and drove his FAVORITE red truck around Nina's and Grandaddy's home
Pearce began Christmas Eve getting to open an early present from his best 1st cousin Carter... a big blue tonka truck..
but not before Nina gave him a big huge Christmas Eve smooch.. "Nina, lipstick? yuk!"
